ICSE 2016 EXAMINATIONS
- The number of schools that presented candidates in India & Abroad for the ICSE Examination is 2,015

- The ICSE Examination has been conducted in 63 written subjects of which 22 are Indian languages and 13 are foreign languages.
- For ICSE in India, the Southern region has the best pass percentage i.e. 99.68% followed by the Western region (99.57%), Eastern region (98.30%) & Northern region (97.70%). Abroad, ICSE has achieved 100%.

- The ISC Examination has been conducted in 50 written subjects of which 15 are Indian languages, 6 are foreign languages and 3 are classical languages.

ICSE – SPECIAL CATEGORY STATISTICS
- 7393 Scheduled Caste candidates took the examination, achieving a pass percentage of 97.20%
- 5469 Scheduled Tribe candidates took the examination, achieving a pass percentage of 97.09%
- 28970 Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates took the examination, achieving a pass percentage of 98.36%
- Special Difficulty cases for ICSE such as Dyslexia cases were 935 (96 candidates obtained above 90%); Visually Challenged cases were 31 (10 candidates obtained above 90%) and 5 candidates took their examinations in the Hospitals
- The Council for the seventh year successfully conducted the centralized evaluation of answer scripts for the ICSE Examinations.
- ICSE had 422 centralized evaluation centres across the Country.
- The ICSE Examination Mark Sheets and Pass Certificates will reach the schools latest by 14th May 2016.
ISC – SPECIAL CATEGORY STATISTICS
- 2463 Scheduled Caste candidates took the examination, achieving a pass percentage of 94.48%
- 2658 Scheduled Tribe candidates took the examination, achieving a pass percentage of 92.66%
- 7855 Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates took the examination, achieving a pass percentage of 96.33%
- Special Difficulty cases for ISC such as Dyslexia cases were 126 (13 candidates obtained above 90%); Visually Challenged cases were 3 (1 candidates obtained above 90%) and 3 candidates took their examinations in the Hospitals
- The Council for the seventh year successfully conducted the centralized evaluation of answer scripts for the ISC Examinations.
- ISC had 485 centralized evaluation centres across the Country.
- The ISC Examination Mark Sheets and Pass Certificates will reach the schools latest by 10th May 2016.
